We are so excited to have Family Fun Night in the works this year!!! In-N-Out Burger truck will be at our event and they are PRE-ORDERED MEALS ONLY. This was a huge win for us to get them as they give back 75% of the profit from meals purchased. You will choose between a cheeseburger, hamburger, or grilled cheese and each meal comes with potato chips and a drink. These meals are PRE-ORDER only. In-N-Out will not sell any meals the day of the event.

What is Family Fun Night?

"Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!" This event will be a relaxing event for the whole family to enjoy and get to know our fellow Lakeside community better! After all..."There's No Place Like Lakeside!"

5:00-7:00 - Book Fair
5:00-7:00 - Outdoor Games/Playground Gathering/Games in the Gym
5:30-6:30 - In-N-Out Food Truck (Pre-Sold Meals ONLY)
7:00-8:30 - Movie and Concessions in the Cafeteria (bring a blanket to cozy up at watch on our projector/pull down screen)

Carnival is Going to Be Here Before We Know It!

We NEED VOLUNTEERS to pull off Carnival to the caliber it has been in the past! Carnival is one of our events that takes a lot of people to help reduce the work-load among everyone! Although a few have already volunteered for the Carnival Committee, we need more!!! Tess Heimann and Brandi Ragland have stepped up to be the Co-Chairs, but we need more people in our committees. Carnival Committee has their first meeting on Tuesday, October 22nd at 6:30 at the Cozby Library. Please come and see how you would like to help and what fits you best to help out!

What is Carnival? Carnival is a family event held on a Saturday where we fill up a lot of our classrooms with carnival games like Toilet Paper Toss, Plinko, Spin the Whacky Wheel, Putt-Putt, and Longhorn Lasso. We also have activities such as Dance Party, Hair Salon, Get a Wrist Cast, and more. The Gym has a bounce house and some of our larger games. Our cafeteria has vendor food and performances to watch from all over Coppell. It is truly a magical experience for our Longhorns, so please volunteer and help make all of that happen!

SONIC NIGHT - Wednesday, Oct.23rd!

Come join some of our teachers for dinner at SONIC Night. A large portion of the cost of your meal comes back to Lakeside!

Thanks to our wonderful yearbook editor, Dina, we have a new email where you can send your pictures in to be considered for the yearbook. Please email lakesideyearbookpics@gmail.com with your pictures.

In the SUBJECT of your email please include Grade of the students in the pic, (if you know) Event, and Date. For example: 3rd Grade - Special Friends Day - Sept. 20, 24 OR 1st Grade - Field Trip - Oct. 10, 31 or Kindergarten - Class Working on a Project - Aug. 30, 24. This will greatly help organize the photos easier when they are being saved.
