Pathways to Literacy: Bringing Stories Outdoors

Our Lakeside Library is hoping to bring an exciting Story Walk experience to our learners, encouraging a love of reading while exploring stories in a fun, interactive way! Hands On Coding: Screen Free Learning
Coding is an essential part of our STEAM program. Through coding, learners use computational thinking, sequencing, and problem solving. Sphero Indi uses colors to direct a robot to move forward, turn left and right, or to stop. Younger learners will use Sphero Indi to strengthen their sequencing skills. Older learners will use Sphero Indi to enhance learning in the classroom through the use of storytelling, sequencing of historical events, and making connections across content areas. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
